Find the things that start with the same sound that starts "Lemon Lollypops". (lawnmower, letter, luggage, lion, banana, lemon.)

Have your child make up stories using as many words that begin with L as possible. Some suggested topics include "Larry The Lizard", "Lee Is Lost", or "Lovely Lemon Lollypops" A lemon lollypop makes an appropriate reward for a particularly imaginative story.

Help your child write a letter to Mr. L, telling him all your child's favorite L words.
